Our Corporate Commitments
Commitment to people
Why Extracting and Filtrating?
Employees are the most important asset of any company. Illness-related absence is highly unpleasant – for the affected member of staff and the company as well. That is why there are clear guidelines for occupational health and safety for removal of hazardous substances. Consequently, your employees should be protected from harmful influences of hazardous substances.
Certain air-borne pollutants contain toxic substances that may create long-term and chronic or serious illnesses. In addition, employee absences create economic damages with far-reaching negative consequences with regard to productivity, order processing and finally image and market presence.
We are always on hand to advise you when it comes to eliminating airborne pollutants with the help of efficient and sustainable extraction systems and filtration technology:

Commitment to air quality
Its practical experience makes ULT a sought-after counsellor, when it is about the development of standards for production process air pollution control or process air drying that match your technical progress. We would like to offer you the perfect solution for workplace fume extraction or air drying within the framework of legal regulations.
That is why ULT gets involved in leading standardisation committees such as "Fachverband Allgemeine Lufttechnik" (Association for General Ventilation Technology) of the "Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau/VDMA" (Association of German Machinery and Equipment Constructors).
ULT has been contributing to quite a number of the association's guidelines.
Our association memberships
Our goal is to be able to provide appropriate extraction/filtration or drying technology that supports new processes and materials - as soon as they are used in practice. This is another reason why we are active in research associations. Ecological and economic issues are important to us, which we actively incorporate by participating in these committees and networks.
Extensive network for research and development
Research and development - ULT activities
Decades of involvement in countless research projects have resulted in a Germany-wide network of research and development partners. This networking is of great importance to ULT - after all, our goal is to introduce and establish modern trends and technologies in the industrial environment at all times.
Cooperation and research partners include:
Laserzentrum Hannover (Laser Center Hanover, Germany)
Bayerisches Laserzentrum (Bavarian Laser Center, Germany)
KIT Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany)
ILK Dresden (Institute for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology)
IFA - DGUV-Institut für Arbeitsschutz (Institute for OHS)

Engagement in the VDMA association
Involvements in the VDMA
The ULT board members Dr. Stefan Jakschik and Alexander Jakschik have been heavily involved in the German Mechanical and Plant Engineering Association (VDMA) for years.
Dr Stefan Jakschik is a board member of the VDMA battery production in the EMINT trade association . His commitment is primarily aimed at:
Early integration of ventilation issues
Definition of cost-effective system solutions
Improving and optimizing cleanliness and process climate for production lines for electromobile solutions
In October 2024, Alexander Jakschik was elected as the VDMA Vice President. Detailed information on this engagement and his goals can be found here
Additionally, Alexander Jakschik has been Chairman of the VDMA Ost trade association since early 2022. He represents the interests of East German mechanical engineering companies in the VDMA (particularly the Upper Lusatia mechanical engineering companies) in order to bring a consolidated voice of the economy to politics.
Last but not least, Alexander Jakschik is a member of the VDMA board "Additive Manufacturing" incl. the following focal points:
Goals and approaches of the machine supplier companies represented on the VDMA special interest board
Emphasis of the importance of ventilation occupational safety in connection with additive manufacturing in the working group
Actively shaping the development of additive manufacturing
