ULT will be presenting solutions for process air drying and the filtration of emissions such as laser fume or vapors at the “Battery Show Europe” from 18-20 June in Stuttgart/Germany.
Particular focus is placed on the use of so-called “mini-environments” for process air dehumidification in various production steps in battery cell manufacturing. These are housings that completely enclose processes such as separating, stacking, packaging or electrolyte filling and isolate them from the external environment. This offers a wide range of process engineering benefits, including optimized performance parameters (heating, cooling, pressure losses), the targeted separation of pollutants, greater collection efficiency and significant reductions in moisture ingress. The solutions enables energy savings of up to 77%.
In the area of air pollution control and emission reduction, ULT will present various extraction and filtration solutions for laser fumes and dust as well as for the removal of vapors, odors and gases. These can be utilized in various steps of electrode production, cell manufacturing or battery production - for example during decoating, separating, packaging or cell assembly.
